Today I will show how to send SMS to your friend’s mobile, using Gmail account. It is very easy and cheap way to send SMS to mobile phones. First you must check Google is provided free SMS service for your country. You can check your local area mobile service provider is available with this service. You can check at following URL.

You can see available countries and mobile service providers joined with this SMS service. If your recipient is available with this network you can send free SMS now.
First you must enable your SMS service in Gmail account.
1. First go to Gmail setting

2. Then click on Labs tab.

3. Then you can see SMS labs as follows, you must choose Enable option button and Save changes.

4. After change all settings reload your inbox, now you will see service in you chat box.

5. Then type your friend’s mobile number and press enter key to send SMS. Now you will display dialog box to enter contact name, contact type and choose recipient country from the list. Then press save button as below.

6. If you want check supported mobile service providers you can check at “Supported mobile phone operators” link in this dialog box.
Now you will see chat box right bottom of the screen, you can send free 50 SMS within 24 hours, and if your recipient replay to you with same you will get more 5 SMS free.

7. If you want change recipient mobile number you can change using drop down list. You can add more numbers under this contact name you can use “Add new number” option. It will show as follows.
